With an MRI examination of the upper and lower extremities, we assess changes in the joints, bones, and soft tissues of the limbs.

Why is an MRI of the upper or lower extremity needed?

An MRI of the upper or lower extremity may be performed to:

• determine the causes of joint pain and restricted movement;
• assess injuries to tendons, muscles, and ligaments;
• evaluate post-traumatic changes;
• detect swelling or inflammatory processes;
• examine tumors or tissue changes;
• assess the condition of nerve roots or blood vessels.

Which upper and lower extremity MRI examinations do we perform?

MRI examinations of the upper and lower extremities cover different regions. Each region of each limb is a separate examination.

What do you need to know about an MRI examination of the upper and lower extremities?

• An examination of one area takes approximately 30 minutes.
• Each area is examined separately.
• The price applies to one area.
• If the examination is performed with contrast agent, its cost will be added to the fee.
• You may eat and drink lightly before the examination.
